WASHINGTON, D.C., July 1, 2026: The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) proudly announces the appointment of Mr. Marcos V. Wanless, President and Founder of the Seattle Latino Chamber of Commerce, and Mrs. Anna M. Sauceda, Chair of the Corporate Advisory Board of the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce (LALCC). Both leaders bring decades of experience in leadership, advocacy, and community development that will bolster the USHCC’s mission to promote the economic growth and interests of more than five million Hispanic-owned businesses nationwide.

“As the leading voice for Hispanic business in America, the USHCC is honored to welcome Marcos Wanless and Anna Sauceda to our National Board of Directors,” said Ramiro A. Cavazos, USHCC President & CEO. “Their track records in building institutions, empowering entrepreneurs, and forging high-impact partnerships will help us expand access to capital, capacity-building, and connections for small businesses across the country.”

Mr. Marcos V. Wanless is an accomplished business strategist and civic leader with more than 15 years of international experience managing policy and developing and executing award‑winning business strategies for Fortune 500 companies and government institutions. His career includes leadership roles with the Press Office of the President of Mexico, Televisa Group, Warner Bros., HBO, General Instruments, and Don King Productions, where he consistently delivered innovative branding, marketing, and communication strategies across global markets.

Wanless is the President and Founder of the Seattle Latino Chamber of Commerce, which was recognized by the USHCC as the “Best Chamber in the United States” in 2022, underscoring his ability to build high-performing organizations that elevate Latino entrepreneurs. In partnership with the Washington Hospitality Association, he launched the first Latino chapter within the association, creating a powerful new platform to benefit Latino entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry.

His expertise spans launching and scaling media and entertainment brands, including leading national and international branding and marketing strategy for Televisa Networks and playing a key role in launching HBO in Mexico City’s Cablevisión, where his team achieved Latin America’s top sales for an initial launch weekend. Wanless is also a respected thought leader, serving as a bestselling author, columnist, and radio host, with a strong record of mentoring teams and emerging leaders in dynamic, fast paced environments.

Mrs. Anna M. Sauceda serves as Chair of the Corporate Advisory Board for the Los Angeles Latino Chamber of Commerce (LALCC), where she leads strategic engagement with corporations to financially and programmatically elevate Latino businesses in one of the nation’s most dynamic regional economies. In this role, she focuses on building high-impact partnerships, expanding supplier diversity opportunities, and advancing initiatives that strengthen the growth and competitiveness of Latino-owned enterprises.

Drawing on her deep experience in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors, Sauceda is widely recognized for her ability to convene cross-sector leaders, align corporate investment with community needs, and champion Latino entrepreneurs—especially Latinas—through mentorship, capacity-building, and ecosystem development. Her leadership at LALCC has helped create new pathways for access to capital, contracts, and technical assistance for small businesses across the Los Angeles region.

With a distinguished career spanning nonprofit and corporate leadership, Sauceda has long been a force for community and economic empowerment. She became one of the first Latinas to serve as Executive Director of an inner-city YMCA, leading the Weingart East Los Angeles YMCA for a decade and launching pioneering programs that supported the emerging female workforce. She later served as Vice President of the Education Foundation within the TELACU family, where she grew annual fundraising and championed innovative programs that significantly improved retention and graduation rates for local scholars.

Sauceda’s leadership has extended deeply into the Hispanic chamber ecosystem. She served six years on the Board of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC) and later as Chair of the CHCC Foundation, where she ignited Latina participation and spearheaded “The Latina Initiative” to uplift women entrepreneurs. Her contributions have earned high-profile recognition, including the Latina Empresaria Award from the CHCC Hall of Fame (2023) and “Woman of the Year” from California State Senator Susan Rubio, District 22 (2024), as well as being featured in La Revista Binacional “2026 Women Who Move Los Angeles.”

We are so proud of the quality of this board and the rich representation it brings across the country, from local to chambers to small businesses to corporate America,” said Jackie Puente, USHCC Board Chair. “Marcos and Anna add even greater depth to that representation, and we’re confident their leadership will help us continue delivering for Hispanic entrepreneurs nationwide.”

Advancing the USHCC Mission

With the appointments of Wanless and Sauceda, the USHCC further strengthens its board leadership with innovators who have built successful enterprises, advanced workforce and education initiatives, and championed public–private partnerships that uplift Latino communities. Together with the USHCC’s network of more than 260 local chambers and business associations and over 100 corporate partners, the Board will continue driving policies and programs that expand access to capital, capacity-building, and contracts for Hispanic business enterprises nationwide.
