Santiago Salas Oliva

Santiago Salas Oliva was born and raised in Mexico City. He started his Political Science Bachelor’s Degree at the National Autonomous Technological Institute (ITAM) before transferring to the University of San Francisco. He is now in his last semester at the University of California in D.C.
Santiago has a concentration in Politics of Transformation and he is extremely passionate about progressive transformation and world sustainability. On a side note, he is very energetic about soccer, Mexican culture and traveling. He has been to more than 25 countries in 5 different continents and hence, loves to learn about new cultures from around the world.
As Government Affairs and International Business Fellow, he is working directly on the policy strategies for the USHCC. He already has experience working as a lobbyist in Mexico and he intends to learn, with the USHCC, about the working relations between private and public sector in Washington D.C.
