Andrea Rathbone Ramos
Communications and Programming Fellow Andrea Rathbone Ramos is a DACA recipient and outspoken supporter of Dreamers and immigrants with vulnerable legal status. In 2018, Andrea served as a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Coca-Cola intern for Congressman Joaquin Castro and served in leadership roles for the Alumni network of CHCI. That same year, Andrea graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) with a bachelor's degree in public administration. Andrea was a student leader at UTSA, a Jane Findling awardee, and a driving force behind establishing the UTSA Dreamer's Resource Center. Andrea went on to work at the Texas House of Representatives after graduation and later joined the American Business Immigration Coalition. While at ABIC, Andrea focused on advocating for economic growth by creating opportunities for new Americans. Currently, Andrea is a Dean's Scholar in the MPA-PNP program at New York University's Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. When not studying, she can be found listening to comedy podcasts or doting on her dog. |
