Program CoordinatorWashington, D.C. Office
The USHCC seeks a Program Coordinator (full time salary position) as part of our SBA Community Navigator Grant Pilot Program – USHCC (“HUB”). The primary focus of this pilot program is to offer technical assistance and support to small minority-owned businesses and the underserved community to help strengthen engagement and opportunity. The USHCC is designated as a “HUB” for this program, partnering with five “Spokes” throughout the nation to carry out this initiative. This position will lead the USHCC’s efforts in collaborating with representatives from each “Spoke” partner to work with businesses in targeted communities. The Project Coordinator will support the overall operation of the project by assisting the Vice-President of Programs & Communications, the Senior Director of HBE Development & Procurement, the Finance team internally, and the Project Management vendor contracted to help with this specific project. This role will ensure all goals outlined in the program for each region are met and that the program is compliant with all grant reporting and requirements. In addition, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for the strategic development and planning for the overall program objectives in collaboration with the “Spoke” partners. This role is responsible for coordinating meetings, helping develop training curricula, and overseeing all program activities and events corresponding to the strategic growth and development of economically disadvantaged and Latino-owned businesses. Finance and Administrative AssociateWashington, D.C. Office
The USHCC seeks a Finance and Administrative Associate (full time salary position) as part of our SBA Community Navigator Grant Pilot Program – USHCC (“HUB”). The primary focus of this pilot program is to offer technical assistance and support to small minority-owned businesses and the underserved community to help strengthen engagement and opportunity. The USHCC is designated as a “HUB” for this program, partnering with five “Spokes” to carry out this initiative. This position will support the day-to-day accounting and administrative functions of the SBA Community Navigator Grant Pilot Program and contribute to meet the needs and responsibilities of the “HUB.” The Finance & Administrative Associate will be the point on tasks related to the funding and monitoring of each “Spoke” partner, ensuring the funding is used per all applicable conditions, requirements, and restrictions to include functional expense tracking and grant management. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with the Finance team internally. Senior Director of Hispanic Business Enterprise Development & ProcurementWashington, D.C. Office
The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is looking for a highly motivated, strategic, and entrepreneurial individual to be the Director of Hispanic Business Enterprise Development & Procurement. This position will lead the USHCC’s efforts to develop our Hispanic Business Enterprise (HBE) members by fostering stronger connections between Fortune 1000 and U.S. government procurement leaders, and America’s HBEs to increase procurement opportunity results for our members who seek more business for their companies. This position will also work directly with our national network of local Hispanic chambers of commerce to provide Hispanic and minority-owned small businesses across the country exposure and professional development opportunities guided by our USHCC “Three C’s” priority framework: expanding access to capital, providing educational training to build capacity, and fostering impactful business connections to take our small business members to the next level. Summer and Fall 2022 Internship ProgramThe United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting applications for the Spring and Summer 2022 USHCC Internship Program. The internship can be completed in a hybrid model or remotely. Interns are current university students and work with one or more of the following departments: Business Development, Government Affairs or Communications, Programs and Events. Some exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis for high school students. Our interns are asked to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week and receive a monthly stipend.
