Monica Alyssa Garza
Special Projects Coordinator Monica was born and raised in Mission, Texas. She comes from a diverse work background, having over 10 years of extensive experience in procurement, supplier diversity, business matchmaking, project management, social media marketing, education, and community involvement. Once she graduated college, she worked with My Business Matches, conducting business matchmaking events across the United States and Latin America for chambers of commerce, large government and corporate entities. Additionally, her educational professional experience stems from her time working with Northside Independent School District (NISD) as a Family Engagement Specialist, for the After-School program, where she focused on family involvement within the school communities and was a reoccurring state presenter for TEA and After-School Support conferences. Monica holds a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts in Communication and Media Studies with a concentration on Public Relations from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and raising her daughter, Evaleigh Faith. She enjoys reading, writing, singing, going to concerts, hiking, and traveling. |
